Big Eyed Bestie Sailor Boy

Just look at this adorable little sailor!  Isn't he just the cutest thing for a fun birthday card. This fun digi comes from Sherri Baldy.  This stamp is the big eyed, big head bestie sailor boy.  He can be found in the shop here

I colored this cute little guy with my Prisma Colored Pencils.

I  created the sentiment using my Cameouing two different files that I merged together than did a print and cut. I also used foam pop dots to pop the sentiment up off the card.

Bestie with Sunflowers

I have a thought process going with this image, though, to be fair, my thought process doesn't always come to fruition.  What started out as a card, has turned into a tag, with thoughts of what else I can do with it.  My processes don’t always work out, to say the least, but the fun behind trying something new and exciting is always on my mind.  Such as with this little beauty from Sherri Baldy.  Isn’t she (Img830)just the cutest little thing popping up out of a barrel holding a hand full of sun flowers.

Coloring her with my Prisma Colored Pencils, (my blending is getting better) my thoughts were to add sunflowers along side her to accent the flowers in the digi.  As you can see, that didn’t work out. So I thought, we will turn it into a tag, and use it with a larger project I have in mind.  Think burlap and more sun flowers and hemp twine!

For now, some simple fall leaves and burlap flowers complete this project. But look for more soon!

Createful Heart Digis

Today, I am here to share with you a new digi  company. Createful Heart Digi.  A fairly new business with some great digis.  Today marks the day of our first blog hop.  You can start here at the Facebook Group and see all of the wonderful creations from the Design Team.  Take some time to visit each blog, I know you will not be disappointed.

For this blog hop, I chose to use the wonderful dig Princess Annabelle.

I colored Princess Annabelle using my Prisma colored pencils. I wanted to add a little bit of something so it did not look like she was sitting on air, so I added some lines to make it look like a hard wood floor.  I really love this digi and I am so pleased with the soft pink colors.  This made it so easy to chose some soft pastel pink papers from my cameo to create the the card.  I added a sentiment specific for a princess, again, cut from my cameo.

I hope you will join in with our anything challenge going on beginning today.   You will find all of the information on our Facebook Group.

Tuesday Outlawz Color Challenge

This month our sponsor is

Our winner will get the 3 digis that our team have to play with.

Don't forget our other Fabulous Sponsors for August

This week's challenge was chosen by me.  Look at those fabulous colors. For this challenge we are using 3 of  colors.

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

This week I used the cute little mermaid.  Inspired by both the colors and the water.  What beautiful mermaid would not love to swim around in those waters with those beautiful flowers.

I used my Prima Colored Pencils to color this image.  I tried something new with this little mermaid, and while I like it, I know there is much work to do to make it better.

I printed the papers from patterns on my Cameo, and completed the design with some pearls to match the paper.

I hope you like it!

Crafty Gals Corner ~ Gate Fold Card using Wink Wink Ink

It's another week for the Crafty Belle's and Crafty Gals Corner.  This week we have a bingo challenge, and two great sponsors.

Our sponsors this week are:

Get your Wink Wink Blinkie!

Prize: $15 Gift Certificate

Prize: 3 Digital Images

For this weeks challenge, I decided I wanted to try my hand at a gate fold card, but I had to stay within the realms of the Bingo Chalenge.

I started by using two sheets of Designer Paper.  Both of which I printed with my Silhouette Cameo. This is such a great feature when you need something specific like I did here.  It is the wrong time of year to purchase Valentine's Day papers.

Using the Luv Bugs from Wink Wink Ink, I created the heart and the scalloped heart to hold the gate card closed.  It did not turn out near like I had hoped, but it still works and is super cute.  I added flowers to the front in the top and bottom corners and found tiny buttons to put on the inside of the flowers.

I finished off the card by adding another image of the Luv Bugs from Wink Wink Ink and a sentiment printed from my Cameo Silhouette.

Isn't this just the cutest image?  Thanks for taking a look!

Hello there crafty friends and welcome to another anything goes challenge. This week Team B is showcasing designs made using  Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.

as many many more wonderful digital stamps with a sense of humour.
This week they are offering the lucky winner the choice of 2 digi images from their shop.

Dr. Digi has such fun digis to work with.  I am using Professor Wiggingson for my creation this week.  I used my Prisma Colored Pencils to color him, then used Graphic 45 Core Impressions Paper, a Tim Holtz Watch Charm, and a Bronze Chain, Michael's Jewelry to complete the card.

Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge ~ Vintage Twist

This month our sponsor is

Our winner will get the 3 digis that our team have to play with.

Don't forget our other Fabulous Sponsors for August

This week's challenge was chosen by Laurian, would like you to use 3 of the 5 colours shown to make your project and the twist this week is 'Vintage'!

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Such fun colors and perfect for a vintage twist.  Here is what I  came up with for my card this week.  I love this little girl riding this older style bike.  The image alone is a great vintage piece.

I tried to pull as many of the colors out as I could. the problem is, most of the colors were in my back ground paper, and got covered up with the rest of the design.  The cute image, and the added embellishments of paper roses and wooden heart buttons completed my card design.

The paper I used for this project is from my stash, but I do know that it is Close To My Heart paper, I just do not know what it is called.  *sigh*  The image is colored using my Prisma Colored Pencils.

Tuesday Color Challenge with the Outlawz

This month our sponsor is

Our winner will get the 3 digis that our team have to play with.

Don't forget our other Fabulous Sponsors for August

This week's challenge was chosen by Jacqui. Jacqui chose Monohrome this week, in blue but you can choose whichever colour you like!

This week I chose to use the wonderful C8-Oz Collection Espantalho for my card this week.  I am not sure I totally met the monochrome color, but I did use blues. More importantly, I love how it turned out.

I used my Prisma Colored Pencils to add color to this awesome digi.  Using blues and Monochrome requirements, I also added some golds and browns.

The papers I used are all just papers from my stash, including the burlap strip.  Love the fun sun flower buttons.  These came from a friend and I found them to be a perfect fit.

I hope you like my little Scarecrow, I know I do!!
